Default Zoa Deal - is it worth it?

I'd like to put some really colourul Zoa's in my tank and i came across this

5x colouful zoa frag pack EAGLE EYE,REVERSE/RADIO DRAGO on eBay, also Coral, Fish, Pet Supplies, Home Garden (end time 18-Apr-08 18:19:41 BST)

5x colouful zoa frag pack BAM BAM, EAGLE EYE on eBay, also Coral, Fish, Pet Supplies, Home Garden (end time 19-Apr-08 13:00:42 BST)

But are they worth what they are being sold for?? I also dont like the little stone tablets they are on - can they be scrapped of these?

Also they have this

zoa frag RARE TUB'S BLUE on eBay, also Coral, Fish, Pet Supplies, Home Garden (end time 19-Apr-08 13:16:29 BST)

Is it really as rare as they are making out?? as they are charging quite alot for it. I was thinking if it is - i could buy it then frag and sell to my lfs.

Any advice given would be much appreciated!

Hard to answer post...first your $$ is different. Then don't know anything about supply and demand of aquatic life on your side of the world...

Anyway, bottom line, I ALWAYS want to see a coral before I buy. All kinds of potential problems if you don't. Not to mention shipping risks, etc.

Of course you may wind up passing by "good deals" ... but at least you know for sure what you are getting. And not possible for those w/o a good LFS nearby.

Am pretty lucky in that I have a LFS that seems to have way nicer corals then I see generally on web, for much less cost.

IMHO only---

Maybe this will help:
5x colorful zoa frag pack EAGLE EYE,REVERSE/RADIO DRAGO 24.95 GBP or 49.24 USD

zoa frag RARE TUB'S BLUE 21.95 GBP or 43.33 USD

I tend to stay away from anything that says "Rare" only because you have no clue if it's rare or just some run of the mill everyday Zoa being passed off as Rare.

I bought the same Tub's Blue from a reputable dealer and only paid 5 dollars a polyp for them or $25 for a 5 polyp frag so that price seems rather high to me.

Here is a 5 pack from someone in the US, I know he doesn't ship to GB but it gives you a reference as to what we pay here. These are going for 26.95 USD = 13.65 GBP

Zoanthid/Palythoa 5 frag pack live coral - eBay (item 380002899233 end time May-03-08 08:43:28 PDT)

That's what I paid. $20 for 4 or 5 polyps.

$18 USD for a 6"x4" frag, but then again it isn't a "rare" one. IMO "rare" all too often means "we don't know how to keep it alive"
