Default yellow polyp vs. zoo vs. emerald crab

Hey all,

i have a question about the colony of yellow polyps i got a couple of days ago. on the rock there are abounch of random zoo's, but most have either not opened, or opened very little. would this have to do with the large amount of yellow polyps stinging them, or the current they are now in vs. what they were in at the fish store. the zoos are small but there are alot of them (i love getting big rocks with cool stuff on them). also i got two emerald craps and the same time. they had a buy one get one free so i thought i would try them out. will they eat the polyps? i have noticed that they are very strong for a little crab, and dont want them eating all the baby dusters, mushrooms, and polyps i have  .

Yellow polyps do pack a punch so it could be why your zoanthids are not opening. If the crabs that you got are true emeralds, they will probably leave your corals alone.
