Default Why are they bleaching?

Restarted tank 6/04 &&40 Gal Tenecor Simp plus ,Aqua remora pro skimmer, 150 Watt heater, 36" Orbit Power compact 2 96 watt 10K,67K, & 420,460 & moon light, 9 watt coralife UV Filter added 9/25/04 .&& 25 lbs LR, sand base 1/4" , 4 green chromis, 1 blue damsel,1 sm yellow Tang,1 six line wrasse,1 emereld crab, 14 blue leg hermits,12 turbo grazers,6 nassirius Snails , Misc mushrooms, Small colony Polyp corals & 1 small starburst polyp&&I use RO water & Oceanic Salt&&Fastest test kits

When you say "Water quality is good" what are the #'s and what are you testing? What kind of lights do you have, how old are the bulbs, how long in the tank, and where in the tank are they? They eat phto-mine like cycopleze-everything loves that stuff.

tank spec's under pic,
water quality Ph 8.2, Sp GRa 1.023, Amon 0, Alk 4.5 meq/l, cal 475ppm, nitrite 0.0 ,nitrate 0 , phos 0 , temp 78.8
bulbs are new

gotcha-sorry I did not see that. Were they under MH before? I have never had luck with with fastest kits, I use Salifert JMHO. Where in the tank is it placed and what kind of flow?

May want to raise Specific Gravity to at least 1.025.

Picked them up At lfs 3 weeks ago, Don,t recall if they were in a tank w/ MH, Don't think so.
I will raise my specific gravity slowley.
when I got them i put them up high after they bleached I moved them to mid level
