| Re: What is your Favorite coral Hi Jason...agree completely re. LPS...far more attractive to me then SPS..they are the most beautiful "flowers" of the tank "garden."
I have a bubble - not a pretty green hue like yours, is just the run of the mill white - and not partularly my "favorite"
Top of list for ones in my tank, is may Torch - one of my first which has grown 3X - and two leathers which I got at startup.
All going "gangbusters" now with the addition of MH lighting (using phyto & coral plankton) may also be contributing.
Here they are:
"Torch" not fully expanded, but is a "sight" when it is...will get a better pic. This "Toadstool" "lives" in a giant barnicle shell I found on the beach..
OmarD _________ AG "125," AquaC EV 180, 30 gal sump, "SCWD", 80 lbs LR, CoralSeaLife "Moonlite" Hood, PFO 250W HQI Mini-Pendant (SPS HQI 14000k bulb)
12 Gallon NanoCube - 24w stock PC 50/50 light "...nothing good ever happens fast in a reef tank, only bad things happen fast..."

| Re: What is your Favorite coral Your corals look great guys, my favorite is my little Hammer Coral, I had to have another one. My last one got so big it was amazing.
(Bad photo, wish I had J's camera!)
My runner up is my Bird's Nest coral. Never had one before, but it's really cool! |

| Re: What is your Favorite coral I'm with nugio. I couldn't live without my toadstool. I also love my ricordea. _________ &&Right now I'm in the middle of a conversion from reef to Discus/ planted aquarium. Hair algae beat me down. Maybe a nano in the future. Everything screwed up so I'm converting to FOWLR. Wish me luck. |
