FWIW, they're FAR easier to deal with, then aptasia. I've rid countless tanks of them. The solution is easy. Irritate them to close up, which makes their foot firmer. Then simply take a dental tool, and get it under their foot, and pull. 90% of the time, they come right off for me. Sometimes they rip, but I scrap the remains off. Funny thing is, my sexy shrimp will follow me around and clean up any scraps that are left behind  One disclaimer, if they're in a hole, obviously this method won't work. In that case, I end up coverring the hole with super glue  | I agree, as aiptasia anemones turn into jelly. Crazy critters.
