| Hybrid or no, the ones I had were impossible to kill. There was simply too many of them. That picture is from when I had a 55 gallon seahorse tank so, when you consider the high nutrient/low flow characteristics of that tank, you can imagine how quickly they grew and spread I recently broke down my 90 gallon because I was fed up with having them in that tank too. I will never put liverock from an unknown/unfamiliar source into my systems again. Ever! |

serotonin, is this the same unknown coral that you have? I was able to get a picture of what mine looks like and have no idea what it is.

| Yup.
Get rid of those for sure.
If joe's juice does not do the trick add some calcium powder to it and to strengthen the solution. Just be really careful that you don't squirt other corals with the solution. Typically it is easiest to apply when all the power heads are off.

| Yup, mine looks like that but its not even the diameter of a dime yet. I'll be hitting the rock with something to kill it tonight. Problem is i dont want to kill my shrooms or corals on it. Is using a small pencil torch a bad idea? |

| Yea you should be fine. If anything gets on your other corals you can just just remove it. |
