torch coral Question

Hi all

Yesterday when I came home from work I noticed there was a transparent slime like substance with small round white egg like things suspended in it coming out of my torch coral. about 1 hour later they were gone and everything seems fine. Does anyone have an idea what that substance was?

Weird....never saw that before. Was it coming out of the coral's mouth?

I don't think so when it does that it is like a stringy brown substance this was clear with, Well it looked almost like small uncooked tapioca in it

What do you feed your torches? I dont target feed mine but I add rottifiers and Phyto and some invert stuff. The tank gets a good shot of kalkwasser every night and they hace grown and have split twice. Does anyone know of a good place to buy these type corals? O have been using this place

Yah the coral looks great!

I haven't seen the stuff again, If you find any info about it I would greatly appreciate it and I'll let you know if there is any change in the coral!!

Jay I give it a small piece of chopped shrimp once a week I also add some cyclopeeze with my normal feeding about 2 to 3 times a week..... John
