Default torch coral

ok i bought a torch coral todaY sence then it has sucked up into its tube and has changed to a green coler is it dieing ? i added alkalinty and calcium

How long has it been in the tank? How did you acclimate it?

What were your water parameters before introducing the torch? It may take a few days to open....Did you test for Ca and Alk before dosing?

nitrTE 20 PH 8.4 its been in there for about an hour or so i bought esv bioonic and dosed it for what it said
i dont no what the calcium or alkalinty was befor but this is the first coral ive ever bought

dont start dosing every think you can get your hands on thinking that your in trouble, 9 times out of 10 this will just creat a problem, If your water parameters check out then just give the coral a few days to settle in to your tank.
Corals a fussy little buggers and they can either open up with in the hour or after a couple of days I dont think you need to worry just yet.

it has opend up more sence this pic i took the water flow down just a notch so it wasent complety rite on it

my tank is about 1 year old it use to be a fish only tank there is only one piece of live rock the rest is lace rock that has been in there sence the start

Green is normal for a torch.

Needs at least medium flow area.

Good light. Try moving up in tank.
