Default Should I worry?
Should I worry about bristle worms attacking my new Xenia and green BTA? I have read previous posts some say yes and others no. Just thought I could get some clarification. Since it is my first coral and my first anemone.

Worms and most inverts only clean up what is dead or dieing IMO. I wouldn't worry about it at all

If you have a very large amount of these worms It could be a sign of over feeding the tank .. Like with any animal their numbers are controlled by the available food source especially with scavengers

I cut back my feedings to every other day or every third day depending on my work schedule. Before (about 2 years ago) I feed every day . My tank looks so much better since I stopped feeding so much and started changing the water every two weeks. Still might be to much since there are a fair amount of bw's.
