Here's some "zoanthids." *I really like polyp corals -- they are easy to keep and care for; *they aren't extremely light dependent, meaning that you can keep them under PC's; and they spread throughout your tank when conditions are right, making a beautiful aquascape.

These are some Brown Polyps that I picked up a while back that have spread to several neighboring rocks:

I have a lot of polyps. *I've given quite a few of them away, as they have taken over plain rocks.

This small rock was in the midst of all three different types of polyps I have. *Now, it has all three types growing on one small rock. *It's kinda cool -- and I just thought I'd share.

what colors can i get the polyps in? ih ave a small rock with green stars on it and wanted to mix/match colors. Also how long do they need light per day? 8hrs or more or less? please help me on this as i am new to corals as of 2 days ago

The brown polyp turn a green color when you have better lighting.
Yellow polyps are also common.

also how much water flow? i have a power head pointed right on them now is this too much?
