Please Hammer don't hurt 'em

I just got a new hammer coral. I notice this thing has some serious sweepers. I was wondering if any low growing mat corals like stars or something could grow in around the hammer or doe it just have to stay a dead zone around the hammer?

Most varieties of euphilia (hammer, frogspawn, torch, etc.) are more than a match for competing corals. They are aggressive and have powerful stings. About the only thing that you could put in close proximity would be another euphilia.
