Default Pink Ricordea Yuma Placement

I currently have a pink and green Ricordea Yuma about 20 inches under my 150 watt DE MH Bulb. I have a 46 gallon with a sunpod with 2 150 watt MH bulbs. I could place him about 15 inches away. He is looking good now so I am not sure if he would like it or not? Also how about the Florida Ricordea? Any good insight is appreciated. Also no

Nice Yuma! If the coral looks "happy" where it is, leave it alone. I tend to put my yumas and ricordia on the sandbed but that's because I don't want them spreading onto my rock.

Default Ricordia Yuma Placvement

Thank You! Do you think because its on rock now that it will make another one eventually versus being on the sand. My florida ricordia split being on the rock and then just fell onto the sand.

It's possible that it will split faster if it feels that it's got a better foothold on the rock than it would on the sand but I'm guessing
