| Pagoda cup coral O.K. check this out!
Long ago when I bought my B.T.A. it came home on a dead pagoda cup coral skeleton. The skeleton had little patches of living coral on it here and there and they said that it was on it's way out. When I got it home the B.T.A. moved off it the first night and since I don't have alot in my tank I could afford this "dead coral" a sweet spot in the tank it has been like 1 1/2
years since it has been in there and it has grown. One of the mods actually classified it for me. I guess I always had some hope of it becoming whole again but I knew that was a long shot and many years away! But...
Now I see the pieces around the edges of the skeleton are turing into little pagodas all themselves instead of growing onto the old skeleton they are forming new ones and growing off the skeleton! This is cool but what will happen to the little pieces that are in the middle of the cup and are still alive on the old skeleton? Has anyone ever seen this before? _________ 55 Gal. | Re: Pagoda cup coral so what will happen to the little pieces in the middle? I have heard I should use a toothbrush on the old skeleton is this true?
