| i have a good quess.i had the same thing happen,i think it just took awhile for the zoos to adjust to my lighting,then they took off fast.

But thinking over, I did put back on filter socks on return pipes couple of months ago...thereby greatly increasing water clarity/purity (which in turn made the lights more efficient. )
Expect that may be cause for rapid zoa expansion.
But for whatever reason am quite happy about it. Have been waiting long time to see some zoa growth...at this rate probably going to become nuisance shortly - |

| Light and nutrients from your water column is essential with good water flow. Many of them will also consume mysis or brine shrimp, causing them to grow like crazy as well, atleast from what I see in my tanks!
