| Zoos, shrooms, xenia are all relatively forgiving. They can survive and grow with ~2W/Gal. But mine like their 9W/Gal I give them.
_________
46 Gal bowfront - 350W MH - 65W PC Actinic -CS90 Skimmer - SQWD with locline outputs - 18G refugium RDP- 1/4 HP chiller - 2x96W PCs on sump a fuge for coral frags and macro.
It's an overcrowded home with a little of everything and 5 fish. Thank good the fuge and sump were built for something bigger. |

| | 3reef Moderator | Most corals that have lower light requirements enjoy a more nutrient rich water. feeding becomes very important .
There are some great ones: Mushrooms, Non-photosynthetic Gorgonia, Sun polyps (my Fav but I can't keep them), Zoathids, star polyps, Clove Polyps.
So there is quite a lot out there

J | What do you feed them, and how often? I just got 5 new mushrooms/live rock over the last 2 weeks. The tank looks so much nicer now, and id like to keep them as healthy as possible. |

| Button polyps can be housed under lower light quantity, the color of the polyps will tend to be more subdued however.
Likewise, many other soft corals, Gorgonians, Sponges as well as LPS' and SPS' can be kept to some degree.
I'd be careful with "non-photosynthetic" Gorgonians, and Tubastrea, Dendronepthea, to name a few as they require target feeding and if you don't balance the amount of food used to feed these, you run the risk of too many nutrients in your water! _________ 125gal.w/Mag9.5 return(dual megaflow)>Mag7 pump Aqua Cev180skimmer.Wave2k Hamilton Reefstar(2)250watthqi(mh)pend.a Yellow, Naso Tang Red Lip Blenny Percula Clown Demoiselles Niger Trigger F.
