  |  A lucky weekend for me!!
I should have bought a lotto ticket!
So we have a Reef Club here in Denver ( MASC Home) and I attended my first meeting Saturday night. Well the lady hosting us has a really nice 140gal setup. Her Rose BTA has split several times and I scored one of the HUGE ones, 8 or 9 inches I swear, for $30!!!  You guys know a RBTA that size would retail for well over $100
Not only that, but she just handed me for free a big Leather Coral, and a frag of some Button Polyps. Probably worth $50 or $60 combined.
It doesn't end there...some guy posted a free, yes FREE Plate Coral (also really big, probably about 5 inches) on the Reef Club website and I scored that one as well. I'm guessing this one to be in the $50 to $60 range as well.
So all this stuff would be worth $200 minimum and I stole it, basically. Pictures to come! Actually I redid my aquascaping so I need to take new pics soon anyways.
A side note on the anemone; I feel pretty good about this one. Reason being it came from one that split in captivity and was raised in captivity. So my thoughts are it's used to the tank life and should thrive, as it has been already.
