recently, i've decided to refuse to buy local, unless i'm getting food, equipment, or supplements... coral selection is mushrooms and polyps, and they're expensive as crud around here (50 bucks for a 2 pound rock with 12 mushrooms and a ricordea floridea) for fish, i MAY buy local, because there's a pretty decent selection between the only 2 stores here... it just depends on how long they've kept the fish without any problems... but its kind of hard to buy from someone that doesn't know what disease the fish has, or that doesn't know a fish's species..

wow... looks nice, but not really what i thought it would be... i guess i was thinking the "fingers" might be more upright, instead of drooping down like that... how recently did you buy it?

ahh, much better... i figured if it was a new addition to the tank, that it would look deflated and sickly.... all part of the acclimation, right?

I think I'd prefer the purple color... the one on thecoralbroker.com is a real dark red or purple, with a green shimmer to it...
