I have a problem and need help

Ok today I came home, tank is norm as usual but I noticed one branch of xenia had black streaks going through it. I have never seen this before. I have seen xenia do badly and really good but I have never seen black streaks and it's only on one bunch of them. I am not afraid of losing this bunch because I started with 3 frags and now have about 15..maybe more. Does anyone know what the hell this is?

might be some kind of black line erosion disease?
Never heard of xenia being half-dead...either alive or melted away :p

Hmm, this is interesting. Is the xenia seem to be melting at all or is it just a color problem? Do you think you could upload a picture? That might help the ID process.

No they aren't melting. Just a streak of black that was gone this morning. Really weird. If it's there again, I will definetely post a pic.

LOL something irritated it a snail or fish may have touched it ? What color is the coral ? I have this silver reddish strain but if its disturbed it will get white silver looking . My white strains will get brown looking when messed with for a few hrs .. Our blue Xenia's will get dark streaks in the polyps when messed with also..

My pumpoing xenia are whitish pink. Ya it is weird, i look over and only a few branches had a black stripe going down it.
