I currently have a:
Coralife 24" Lunar AquaLight Fixture - 2 x 65W

Coralife 24" Lunar AquaLight Fixture - 2 x 65W
My 47 gallon tank is 20 inches wide and about 24inches deep.....if i place lps coral at about 12-10 inches deep (mid-range) do you think that the PC lights will provide enough for the lps corals?

That is not a lot of light for that tank. I know you probably don't want to hear it, but to keep anything that will color up decently in that tank you need to upgrade the lighting. On the off chance LPS actually liked the lighting level (waaaay up top) their color wouldn't be brought out as much.
