| I know for a fact that kenya tree is very hardy, eaisly grown and propogated, and I think very appealing. To tell you the truth, I believe if you have salt in your water it will grow!!!!! |

| mushrooms for the most part, zoas, palys, kenya tree (as stated above). bubbles aren't that hard to keep. you just have to make sure that your alk, ca, and mag are kept in check. They seem to be more tolerant of less than perfect water conditions as some of the other lps.
_________

| Sarcophytons are good hardy fast growing corals...Usually fairly easiy to find and not very expensive. Buy small as they will grow fast... COTM - Mar '08 - Sarcophyton sp.
(Sarcophyton sp, Kenya trees in forground)
(But can grow out of hand quit quickly... )
Another beautiful fast growing starter coral is Frogspawn (LPS)...very light forgiving, hardy and really nice looking. (don't confuse with its cousin, the Hammer, not nearly as neighbor friendly or hardy)
(Frogspawn Coral - Euphyllia divisia)
Plus all mentioned above good "starters" _________ AG "125," AquaC EV 180, 30 gal sump, "SCWD", 80 lbs LR, CoralSeaLife "Moonlite" Hood, PFO 250W HQI Mini-Pendant (SPS HQI 14000k bulb)
12 Gallon NanoCube - 24w stock PC 50/50 light "...nothing good ever happens fast in a reef tank, only bad things happen fast..."
- MIKE PALLETTA - (2008 Reef log) ("OmarD"/"Scott") |

| Casey is right about the euphylia. the thing about sps and lps that make most of them good beginner corals is they are more forgiving to slight water variences than most sps corals. As long as you have the means necessary, (light, flow, etc.....) keep them alive, I don't think any of them are really difficult. |
