Default Dying open brain coral??? Help!!

HI, i was given a small green open brain coral that was stung by galaxea. Some areas on the coral are turning red and dying. the tank is a 24 gallon with 150 watt metal halide. the coral is on the bottom of the tank. is that any thing i can do to save this coral. please help! Thank you!

The only thing that I can tell you is to try to feed it and use vitamins.
