Default DEVILS HAND? Whats the Deal ??

Hi I have a frag of devils hand leather that I got from a friend of mine it is about 2-2 1/2 inches in diameter. My question is it seems to go through cycles of being closed and opened lately it has been more closed than open. Today I looked and it is open with polyps extended. Should I feed it when the ployps are extended? I have MH lighting and I placed the frag halfway down the tank maybe closer to the bottom than the top and it is in and area of moderate water flow.

Default

All leathers slough off dead skin and mucus its normal part of them growing larger. Just keep it in in a moderate water flow to rinse it off and clean
