;DGood afternnon everyone just wondering if anyone has come across or put together a chart that breaks down lighting requirements for various types of coral ?I am not looking for a watts per gallon chart more like something simple that would list the corals then say low, moderate or high next to each one. Thanks in advance

Wouldn't it matter where the corals came from more than anything else,I've heard you can get the same kinds of corals in different places and their lighting needs could be different,is that true or no

Yes, this is true. However, most can thrive in a range of light levels, and they can also be acclimated to higher lighting if done properly. :)

yeah you cant really make a chart because like fish corals can differ in care. i have seen some sps grown under power compact lighting. and then i have seen some that can barely be grown by t5's or halides.
