| Chili lookin good! Not the small red lumpy potato looking thing it was when out of direct light...(about 4 months in tank) - I like it!

| lookin really good m8. cant wait to get mine up and runnin. finding it really hard to find any live rock at a reasonably good price. i live on the isle of wight in the uk and everything costs so much to get delivered. |

You might want to consider making most of your rock, then only getting a few lbs of LR to seed it.
See: The Complete Cookbook for Making Live Rock from Cement and Other Types of Rock.
Might take a while, but would be worth it. Maybe you can make some extra on the side, and sell it to others facing same problem. |

| i did that before.i used portland cement,aragonite sand,and mortons salt pelets.i mixed it all together made the shapes and then i cured it in fresh water for 3 months.the salt pelets dissolve and leave behind empty cavities perfect for stuff to grow in.the cement is a coraline magnet.i would'nt fill my whole tank with it but its perfect for growing frags on or making a certain shape you need. |
