| birds nest growth rate 4 months growth, is this normal for the species?

| I've got a pink birdsnest but it doesn't grow nearly as quickly as yours has, however, I find that most corals that have been kept in captive environments for long periods of time tend to grow faster than wild collected corals. Is your birdsnest aquacultured or does it come from a colony that has been kept in captivity for a long time? |

| Very interesting. I wonder what you're doing to get your pink birdsnest to grow so quickly! My green birds nest (Seriatopora guttatus) grows like wildfire but it's not the same species as the pink (Seriatopora hystrix). |

| looks about right. With proper lighting, water flow and nutrient levels, thats what you'll get. |
