    Well if you lived a little closer to me I have some free Kenya Tree Coral frags, they may not be the coolest but def. cheap. Seriously though you can sometimes find $5 and $10 frags at your local shop that may have little zoa's or mushroom corals.

    I noticed your in colorado.... you should go to reefstock this sat, you can always find some good deals on frags there.

    I'm a noob at this, but I'd say go for some pulsing xenia...fun to watch, grows fast, large enough to be interesting. Not the prettiest, and can become invasive, but for me, when starting out, I need the interesting stuff and the boost of watching it grow fast.

    it all depends, some zoos are $5 some are $100 per polyp. Find something you like and go for it, gotta start somewhere...

    Duncans, you can find the less colorful types at a pretty decent price.

    never reccomend stay poylps thell override your tank in 6 months the only safe star polpy is to isolate the rock you have them on to a corner

    colt coral would be my choice;D
