Exclamation Auto Top Off Problem.

Hey guys, im having a scenario with my Auto-Top off system and maybe you can help.

Ok here it goes..

I have a large garbage plastic can as a reservoir. I'm running 3/4 plastic clear tube to handle the water distribution into the sump.

The problem is everytime the auto topoff finish filling up my sump in its normal water level, the water is still flowing from my reservoir even if the auto system is already shut-off.

I elevated the 3/4 tube so it will not touch the sump water level.

I couldnt find any solution how to fix this problem.

Kindly help amigo.

Thank's!

I had a similar problem when I tried switching to a larger top-off container when I was heading out of town for a week. When I moved to the bigger contatiner I had to elevate it a few inches to fit it next to the tank...and that elevation put it high enough that a siphon was created and even though my auto-top off pump was off, water still flowed into the sump.
Or at least that's what I think was going on. I know that when I moved back to the container on the floor I had no more issues.
Hope this helps......
