| That little guy looks like Aiptasia to me, it is considered a pest in an aquarium and can spread quite quickly. Have a look around on the forum and you will find loads more information about them.
Good luck with your new tank and keep us posted on your progress.

| Yea that is definitely Aiptasia. They are a damn pain! Dont feed it! You will want to kill it because they spread fast. My tank is getting a little overrun with them right now, but I bought Joes Juice yesterday so that will be short lived. Its a constant battle though. I hate them. They are an eyesore. _________ 125 Gal Reef. | I had a big problem with those. When I started my reef tank I thought they were little anemones. Till someone told me what they were, by that time it was to late they had spread all over the tank. the guy told me to inject calcuim directly into the stalk which actually worked. I don't know if it was just a coincidence that they died or it actually does work.

| Welcome to the hobby!!! IMO its aiptasia and should be delt with asap. If you search in this site about it, theres many ways to kill it off, but take advantage that you can count how many you have in your tank, and get rid of it before you wont be able to count them! | Queshibo...do yourself a favor and buy some peppermint shrimps. I don't know the size of your tank but in may case my 20g was a playground for aiptasia. I put 4 peppermint shrimp in there and within a week the aiptasia problem was taken care of. |

| sssnake is right, peppermint shrimp do eat the juvenile aiptasia, and can be a good way to fight off aiptasia, but you got to be sure your over and done with your cycle. If not, you can cause harm to the poor shrimp. |
