Will they be ok in close proximity or even the same rock?

If the anemone touches the zoos the zoos will suffer. Zoos don't have much of a potent sting and anemones stings can vary by species of anemone but all would be stronger than zoos.

I wouldn't recommend it.

Good luck getting your anemone to stay put! They move around touching everything in it's path.

You are lucky! I had, key word being "had", one that would move every other night, would piss me off. Then it was going after my cleaner shrimp...had to go!
