| 1st peice of coral going to get my first piece of coral today. This guy has a lot of coral, so i was wondering if anyone had any suggestion on what to get. _________  &&[glow=red,2,300]Another great sig by Nautilus&&[/glow] 75gal Oceanic Reef Ready, 4x96 Power Compact, 20gal Sump, Protein Skimmer, 5 stage RO/DI Typhoon, 100lbs Live Sand, 100lbs Live Rock, 50 Assorted Snails, 70 Assorted Hermit Crabs, Sandsifter Star, 2 cleaner shrimp, fire shrimp, coral banded shrimp, orange linkia star, emerald crab, sea slug, 2 Clarks Clownfish, BTA, Lawnmower Blenny, Kole Tang, Spotted Watchman Goby, 6-line Wrasse, Engineer Goby, Soft and LPS corals |

The reason I said shrooms is because they have low light requirements and are hard to kill.  They also reproduce easily which is pretty cool. |

| Re: 1st peice of coral I agree! There are a multitude of types and colors, have fun choosing! _________ Just tryin to recreate God's perfection in a glass bowl. 20 Gallon Reef W/Live Rock, mated pair of Maroon Clowns, Softies, 110 watts PC 10,000k lighting, and skimmer. |

| Re: 1st peice of coral WHEN I WAS AT THE PLACE I SAW A PLATE CORAL THAT I REALLY LIKE IS THIS A GOOD CORAL. I ALSO READ THAT IT IS BEST PLACED ON THE SAND IS THAT TRUE. |

| Re: 1st peice of coral Give the mushrooms a day or two, don'y panic.
A plate coral is not a good starter and MH lighting would be needed in my opinion. |
