  |  Wow, older thread but I am going to bring it up from the dead. Sooo, question number 1.... If I have a 1" diameter stalk with head, chop the head off, will the stalk stay 1" diameter or will the stalk still continue to grow outwards? #2 ... how bad does the stalk look after its cut? Does it produce a horrid look for months? #3 ... How long does the stalk take to heal to a normal looking head, with/without polyps? #4 ... how long does it take to get to a natural aesthetically looking state again with nice long tenticles?
