| SPS foods I'm going to start switching over to SPS. I was told SPS won't eat phyto plankton. Give me some good live food ideas. If it's something I need to culture can you tell me how? Thought about rotifers, but don't know how to culture them. What are golden pearls? _________ &&Right now I'm in the middle of a conversion from reef to Discus/ planted aquarium. Hair algae beat me down. Maybe a nano in the future. Everything screwed up so I'm converting to FOWLR. Wish me luck. |

| Re: SPS foods It finally worked. I wonder if I can get away with cyclop-eeze and Kent Zoo-plex. Although I hate using dead kent stuff. |

| Re: SPS foods I feed my tank a variety of things. I feed DT's (2 or three times a week) and Liquid Life Bioplankton (once or twice a week). These are both phytoplantons which don't directly feed my sps but do feed my dendros, sponges and other various tiny life which will then reproduce and work it's way up the food chain. I also feed Liquid Life Coral Plankton 2 or 3 times a week which is basically rotifers. Then for the "next size up" I feed cyclopeeze 2 or three times a week. I like to feed heavy in comparision to some as you see but I believe as long as you maintain and watch water quality it is the best way, but is just my opnion |

| Re: SPS foods Don't both the Dt's and Liquid Life Bioplankton have the same strains of phtyo in the recipes with the only real difference being cryo > live and cell counts? *Just wonderring why your using them both. *I've tried about every phyto product on the market, I lean to the cryo-preserved now. *I haven't seen any difference between the live and the preserved, so I go witht he ease of the cryo-preserved (plus Reed Mariculture is on my commute route o work * )
