Hi Can Anyone Tell Me Wether The Coral Is Ok.
There Seems To Be A Bald Patch At The Base?

I see a little bleaching at the base, perhaps as a result of glueing the frag to the peg its on. Nothing I would worry about unless the white spot gets larger. How long have you had this coral?

Hi Have Had The Coral For Around 3 Weeks Now.
The Polyps Are Out And Feeding.
This Coral Does Not Encrust So Perhaps It Might Be A Sign Of Low Light On The Base Area?
I Will Take Another Pic In 3 Days So We Can Compare The Erosion.
Should I Expect The Bald Area To Creep Up The Branch?

Ps The Coral Started Out A Purple Colour But Has Now Turned The Orangy Pink Colour.
Is This Normal Buy The Way I Am Slightly Colour Blind

Could be that the "bald" spots are due to a lack of light or because it's reacting to whatever glue was used to attach it to the base it's sitting on. Most branching corals will eventually encrust enough to build a solid base before it starts to branch in earnest. I wouldn't expect the bald spot to spread unless the coral becomes stressed.

No doubt the coral changed color due to a change in lighting. What lighting did the store that you got it from have the coral under and what lighting is it under now? Was the bald spot there before you bought it or was that something that developed since you've had it?

That looks like Bird's Nest Coral.

If so, it needs good parameters and a lot of light to be happy.
