| I went through the same a couple of weeks ago. My OB died within 2 weeks and most(95%) of my zoas are retreated and missing their little tenticles. I suspect that someone is nipping at them and not a water issue, but I havent caught the MF yet. What fishes do you have? Luna

| I thought the same thing about the Tangs....We have a Yellow Bellied Hippo and a Chevron Tang....Also, i was thinking about temp swings.. How much swing would cause this? Thanks for everyones comments...
We also have two large Orange Plate Montipora. They have grown out of control..They were the size of quarters when we got them and now they are about 10 inches around and have several layers of swirls. We also have three frags from the originals that started out dime size and now are the size of silver dollars. I just noticed when doing a water change yesterday that there are a few whitish pots on them, tiny but noticeable...Any thoughts? |

| 4.5 is a bit much. I run from 79 - 82 and my tanks seem to like that. |

| Flow, flow, flow...with LPS it is all about flow...
Very sensitive to too much, too little.
Move it around till it finds a "happy place"...
Also may find clown or something is trying to use it as a host, irritating it.
