Amino Acids

Does anyone have any positive or negative experience with adding amino acids to a SPS tank.
I have heard that adding it improves polyp extension. If you have a positive response do you follow the instructions on the bottle or add more or less?

I've added some coral supplement that contains amino acids, I don't have an sps tank, but I do have a montipora digitata and a psammacora. I target feed them the supplement and have notices that they look healthier and have grown. It is limited expereience, but may help.

yup, i wouldnt have an sps tank without them.
