| Re: Bubble Coral Help????? Well, it certainly does not look happy!
Do you have Lugol's Iodine on hand? You could do a dip per the instructions...
I cannot tell from the pic if it is cyano bacteria or brown jelly disease..
Do a search on those two, and see if you can match up or rule those out...

| Re: Bubble Coral Help????? You have an awful lot of livestock for a two month old setup!
How are your nitrates and other water parameters?
Do you have similar stuff growing on your sand as well? |

| Re: Bubble Coral Help????? It was set up by my LFS, they put 225 lbs of cured LR, and 75lbs of live sand. Everything spiked after 1 week and by week two, everything was fine and I had my cleaning crew in by week 2. weeks 3 and 4 everything was fine, week 5 started adding livestock.
Nothing growing on sand. All the other corals are doing great, just this one.

| Re: Bubble Coral Help????? I haven't tested the alk yet, but I think it's the lights/current. I've been varying the diet with Marine Snow/ BioPlankton, PhytoPlan and raw shrimp. They eat great at night so what I'm guessing is that it's either too much light or to much current, I'm going to try and move him tomorrow morning when I get home from work. I have a picture of where he's at in the member’s gallery/large aquarium sections. |

| Re: Bubble Coral Help????? As in your last post I would try going with less light as bubbles like low to Medium (moderate) lighting John
