And I might add, one the the ones that is slow growing and stays relatively small like a crocea (Tridacna crocea).
Good luck with whatever you choose.
Got me thinking about small one for my nano. But have nowhere near enough light.

| Just to clarify what has been posted about nitrates, clams will not keep your nitrates level down. They do consume them a little bit but not enough to solve a high nitrate problem  |

| Well this "thread" is a prime reason i beleave in larger tanks guys and Lady's ,
Ive seen this a million times People whom have these smaller nano's / smaller tanks
ALWAYS want more diversity / higher demanding light,calcium, ROOM TO GROW.
