Don't know what eats both clams and zoa's
Pyramid snails kill clams...Sundial snails eat zoa's.
You may have one or other.
Sixline will help clean either out.

| Look when you guys get clams always freshwater dip them before you put them in your tank and also when one looks off not opening as usual and just kind of pinched Dip it and when one dies after a period of decline dip it to see what may have killed it .
Pyramid snails will come in on them and they do their damage from the inside out. When I first went to work and to manage the coral systems their where a lot of clams a few looked off I dipped them all several times over the next few months. I had over 300 snails in just one of them I counted them.. You know the little cylinder type test vials that are in some water test kits it was 1/2 full from just that one clam he made a full recovery and was looking great as they all where when I last say them (:
A few yrs ago Amcarrig was holding a clam for her buddy it looked funny I dipped it and man it was full and after the dipping it came right back with in a few hrs.. He lost it anyways as he never re dipped it and his tank was a HO2 mess ): _________ Some of the world's greatest feats were accomplished by people not smart enough to know they were impossible (Doug Larson) |
