Help Me Decide What To Do With My Injured Clam

Well, I was too rough with my clam trying to move him, and he is really bummed. Hasn't died, but is half the size he was.

Actually kinda surprised he isn't dead.

Not sure what to do, it's reacting to light and extends a bit, but is obviously hurt.

My softies are a little upset from whatever this clam spewed out. Thinking a water change is a must. Let me know what you think.

Matt, I would continue to wait it out.
Have you posted on Clams directs www. Might be helpful. I voted to do nothing and maybe try feeding it.

Sorry to say but that looked like my clam just before it died.
Don't think anything you do will change that, But try and move him to a small tank with light and fresh water as that could not hurt.

Yeah, I'd say this one is a coin flip.
I'm tempted to leave it since the water quality would be better than any little tank I could start up.

I did speak to someone today who did the same thing. He said he just fed it phyto until it recovered. It's got me thinking, but I'm still open to suggestions.
