    Hi there:

I'd like to ask people's opinions on the following:

What inverts are almost always safe to add to clam aquarium--won't hurt the clams?

And what inverts are absolute no-no's for a clam aquarium?

    Thanks
    :)

I keep cleaner shrimp, hemits, and turbo snails with my maxima's without problems. I would imagine any snails that are typical of a cleaner crew would be fine.
As to which inverts to avoid, it would be all the typical non reef safe ones. Sally lightfoots, arrows, any type of lobster (including purple), those sorts of things.

What kind of invert do you want to add?

Hi Mr. Guitar: I read your blog by the way. I don't have anything special in mind. I'm still in the planning stages. I want to find out first what to stay away from so I don't get my heart set on something that is a no-no. Just want to hear opinions from experienced people. i.e. are any crabs ok? So Pack Leader says hermits are ok. Happy to hear your opinion. frogdog
