Thanks for the feedback. Choice is really geared to be a supplier for hobbyists East of the Mississippi. We could get a dozen of these specimens to you in Washington for about $29.99 of freight in our six pound box...which would make them $18.50/ea with shipping for a group on the West side of the country...where if you were living in Chicago, the freight is $17.99 and only $17.50/ea. with shipping.

If you ordered from my competitor, the two Vets, the cost for Washington or Chicago would be $22.91/ea. with shipping....where they charge a flat $35.00 for freight.

So the closer you live to Michigan, the better your freight rates with Choice because we use a matrix approach with three sizes of boxes, and charge according to eight zip code zones.

Freight gets more reasonable if you have several specimens you want or if you have enough friends interested for a group buy.....but for a couple of shrimp, shipping just makes it an ordinary price.
