| It was a fancy dinner with friends. My family traditionally went to church on Christmas so it wasn't a stretch. (It's about the only time I go to church now. I'm doomed.  ) |

| Well I don't want to turn this into a thread about religion, but yes things have changed. Especially in the San Francisco Bay area where I live now.
