Default Where's Matt?

Hey 3reefers... sadly this is the 2nd annual 'where's matt?' thread. Yep I did it again. Last year at this time I wiped out on my Vespa and broke a bunch of bones. I was driving to fast and thought I deserved it. Well this year I just had a plain old accident and hit a pothole in the dark and met the pavement again.

I thought I just sprained both my wrists and bruised my ribs, but after a few weeks one of wrists still had some pain. So I saw my doctor and the next thing you know I am in surgery. Yesterday they screwed a bone together that was fractured and displaced. Opps.

So the point here isn't sympathy.. although I like it too .. the real point is i feel bad for not being around as i love this site and hanging out with all of you and I wanted to let you know this one handed typer won't be around much in the next couple weeks and I ask that you please make this site yours in my absense... help others, post an article, do a fish of the month or even start a photo contest. You can do it all here because this site is for you!

Take care and I'll be back asap. And, yes, I sold the Vespa.

Wow!!!

That was quite some time ago that you had your accident. I'm glad they are fixing you up though.

When they finally took my wrist out of my cast, it turned out that the orthopedist didn't set it correctly. My left wrist is cock-eyed facing in. As a result, my pinky finger, the next one over, and sometimes my middle finger want to go one row up on the computer keypad. They offered to rebreak my wrist and re-set it. I decided that relearning typing was the better option.

Wow Matt That sucks, I'm Sorry to here about your incident, Did you hit a pot hole or did you really just hit a lot of pot. Just kidding.

I sold my bike a long time ago, I had the front tire blow out on a turn, Luckily I was only going about 30 when it happened, But it still did hurt like hell (road rash big-time ). Karma to you for selling the bike............. John
