| picture taking anyone have good advise on taking pics of your aquarium? in paticular close up shots...
my camera is fairly new but i just cant zoom in and get great shots without it becoming fuzzy again. i have experianced this on all cameras that i have used
any advise?  |

| If you are able to switch the camera in manual mode it will take better pictures. Also try white balance if you have that option. One other thing you can try is turn off your actinics. _________ Scott 265g (Peninsula)

| I have this problem sometimes. If I position the camera close to the glass and press to focus is goes fuzzy. However, if I stand back and zoom in, THEN press to focus the picture comes out clear. Also if you have some sort of recognition software on your camera then you can use that to your advantage along with the close up option (usually symbolized by the flower icon.) | ^^ agreed dont put the camera right up to the glass, i had problems with that at first.
still trying to get a hang out all the pictures |

Tripod.
Take zoom pics some distance from tanks.
Macro mode.
Crystal clear/still water.
Play with different white balance settings.
Secret for very, very best...underwater camera housing...
Good camera .... not expensive... my best pics taken with 5 year old small sony digital.
Take loads of pics experimenting with different camera settings....
Patience.
Enjoy doing...
Have fun.
