| The "experiance" and the "know how" of so many members of this reefing comunity is what makes it so enjoyable, and useful. It may be enevitable that a nano section is placed since there are some nano keepers here! But I think the sooner the better! (as I wish to start a nano) lol... So many good people in this forum when asked a question about small tanks, will answer "well with a tank that small you will have a hard time "this" or "that" I understand that smaller water volumes fluctuate more than large volumes of water do. And so it is some what more challinging than with a larger volume of water, in the terms of time spent on maintenance. But wether you are just looking for a little more challenge, OR do not have space for - or have enough money to set up a larger tank, then you are doing a smaller tank. I woud love to have a large tank. But it is too much space for my house, as well as more expensive to buy, stock, light, power and so on. So I will likely be setting up a tank in the nano realm, 20 or 37 gallons. It would be great for members of this comunity and others to have a place to find nano specific information and share and compare equiptment used, maintenace sceduals, ect. As they will differ tremedously I presume from people who maintain larger tanks! Having a nano section will allow nano keepers to find nano specific information on whatever topic or issue at hand with less red tape....
This concludes my illiterate presentation on the behalf of all nano members who need a big hug at this point. lol |
