well...they are over played because they dont own most of their songs, if i remember right Michael jackson bought alot of them...also i forgot to mention i was refering to the stongs from 1957-abount 1969...past that is when they start to groovify it...lol | |

also, they might be over played but why would you consider them over rated? i mean...compared to the hip hop and rap music nowadays...cmon...i mean back then there were so many good groups like the turtles and three dog night...even the four seasons were pretty good  | |

Bruce! I am Impressed! I know many people your age who really tell me they have never heard of the Beatles. You remind me of my daughter, she loves a lot of the older music too! (She is 22) Of course maybe the fact that she heard about 90% oldies growing up has something to do with it!!
P.S. Don't forget the Moody Blues, CSNY (Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young), Tiny Tim  (oops! maybe not him  )

Over-rated meaning that there were many bands that sounded great, and yet the English good looking boys were soooooo popular only because of there looks. Same thing with Elvis, he just played the same music Black people played and people loved it because of his looks. | |
