The last clutch of chameleons....this year

These gals/guy hatched last month and I decided to keep these ones for thier color and for next years blood line. Three females and a male (wish i was a chameleon). Was bored so i wanted to share some pics and see if ther were any other cham keepers lurking through these boards.Here's a shot of em sleeping in thier mullah tree (umbrella plant).

Oh man, are they cute!!! I wanna pinch their little cheekies...!!!!! LOL!

I was glad to see they were not really Anoles! I used to work at a pet store and that is what lots of people here refer to as chameleons. Not quite the same!

What do true chameleons eat? Veggies? Crickets? Baby food - like some of the geckos?

Thats an awesome guess, i feed em baby crickets, but before they eat em i feed the crickets baby food, water chessnuts, and collard greens for lot of vitamins. I did also see alot of people call anoles chameleons...i think its because they can turn brown when they are moody. I give them the same diet i used to feed my crested geckos.

r they hard to keep, r they in a tank or? gimme info!

if you can keep a fish tank (even fresh) cham's arent any harder, i actually thing they are easier. They dont like glass cages (usually die in em....think its from lack of airflow), so i keep em in screen cages (on ebay for less than $100....bout 150 gal). I keeo them with live plants such as pothos or umbrell plants. I mist them directly and feed them once a day. No more no less....they dont like being held but wwill launch thier tounges to snatch crickets from your hand. They require good uva/uvb lighting (mercury vapor bulbs are like $25) and daily misting/feeding....not too complex. Plus ther is a lot of info on the web about vieled chameleons.
