| LA County Tomarrow Well its finally here!
My Xenia project will be representing my school in the 56th Annual Los Angeles County Science Fair...lol...dont hate the Reef Geeks (Pun intended...my shirt say Be A Geek... reefgeek.com lol) Hopefully i can sway the judges with my sad stories of dying reefs...the bad part is...the first round i dont even get to talk to them! hope my board does the trick  wish i had taken vids though...the poplys woulda been cool to watch...i can watch my xenia for a good 20 mins _________ Tank Specs:

| Oh that sounds cool! So you're fragging the xenia showing that you can repopulate the reefs indirectly by not needing to take the xenia from the reefs anymore in the first place? LOL or what? | YES! thats what i think we should do for all corals... The sad thing is...in a a decade or 2...there will be no reefs so its up to us to keep the buggers alive!...that is unless alot changes to help the reefs out |

| Actually, I think I'm finally going to take the plunge tomorrow and snip my colt. That thing has gotten HUGE! I've only had it a month! I might snip my xenia while I'm at it. I read some articles on LPS fragging, but it seems like that is still a pretty new thing, and it hasn't quite been figured out. The articles I read say some stuff about sawing the skeleton in half, but the hammer frag at my lps looked like a few polyps stuck on a rock, no skeleton. Also, my yellow polyp frag reproduced already....but just one polyp, and it's clear on the other side of the tank from the rest of the colony! Not sure what happened there. |

| Good News! I have just recieved a call that i made it to the finalist round. This means i am sure to get 1st-4th or a special award  . THE DESTRUCTION OF CORAL REEFS WILL BE HEARD!! |

| Well I won 2nd place in the animal biology senior division. But thats not all!
I won a special award from Earth Watch for a 2 week research project of my choice. They have many with coral reefs! AND its all paid for!
And dont worry, i will bring back many pictures when i go
I will be going onto the state level some time in May |
