    Aussie Daniel Stoupin spent months filming coral to raise awareness of the plight of the Great Barrier Reef. Using a technique called ‘focus stacking’ he was able to capture incredible detail with awe-inspiring results. Although he appears not to be a fan of aquariums personally, his friend’s tanks were instrumental in allowing him to film in a way that would not have been possible in the wild. Take a look for yourself below. And keep in mind that each frame of animation of these hi-res images could take 10 minutes of processing time! Thank you for your efforts Mr. Stoupin. It was worth it.
