|  If I had it to do all over again
If you were setting up your tank today, what would you do differnetly and why?
1. never bought a damsel to cycle the tank, they are mean, and I had to tear my tank apart to get them out.
2. would have consulted 3reef earlier. |

I would have drilled the tank and mounted an external overflow. Right now I am in the process of making my siphon overflow more failsafe by having to add a second one. Been reading on too many people flooding out the room by using one and that is unacceptable to me.

Attached my LR to molded pvc and still cycled my tank with a yellow tail damsel. _________ Scott 265g (Peninsula)

If I had it to do all over again, I would have stuck with my Cichlid tanks! hahahahahaha!

I guess had i wanted to make any changes or do somthing over again' I would have drilled a lower 2 holes to make a closed loop in my 220.
All in all it's been a blast and one hell of a learning experiance along the way.
But I would'int go back for the world, nothing amounts to the same as salt water reefing,
as well met some real good people with alot of fresh idea's as well. | |

The only thing that I would have changed is to start with a larger tank from the begining and not do the step by step up-grades.
